Career Resources
University Career Center
The University Career Center supports undergraduate and graduate students with their career preparation. Connect with a career consultant to discuss applying for internships, on-campus employment, and career opportunities.
Financial Resources
Bursar Office
The Bursar Office handles tuition payment and financial transactions for students. Students should contact the office to learn more about payment plan options and questions about tuition and fees.
Student Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid can provide answers regarding eligibility for state and University financial aid programs available to Texas students who are not U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens.
Student Emergency Financial Assistance Fund
The fund is a resource for students impacted by unforeseen or unanticipated life events that require financial resources. Students can apply for emergency, short-term financial support.
Scholarships for DACA/Undocumented Students
The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund publishes a list of scholarships that do not inquire about immigration status. The scholarships are for high school, undergraduate, graduate and law school students.

Student Immigration and General Attorney Services
Student Government provides immigration and general legal attorney services to students. To schedule an appointment, email sg@utdallas.edu.
Office of Institutional Compliance
This office investigates claims of discrimination and harassment for students, faculty and staff based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, pregnancy, age, veteran status, genetic information, or sexual orientation.

Dallas Bar Association
The Dallas Bar Association provides links to community legal resources including the ACLU of North Texas and Catholic Charities Immigration and Legal Services.
Know Your Rights
The American Civil Liberties Union provides guides on immigrants’ rights in various scenarios involving immigration and law enforcement officers.
Mosaic Family Services
Mosaic Family Services offer a Citizenship program, providing assistance in applying for adjustment of status and naturalization, obtaining fee and/or disability waivers, and interpretation and translation services for United States Citizenship & Immigrations Services (USCIS) interviews.
Proyecto Inmigrante
Proyecto Inmigrante provides immigration counseling services in North Texas and are able to assist individuals with the N-400 application to apply for Citizenship.
Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES)
Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) provides free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees, including refugee resettlement and asylum applications.
United We Dream
United We Dream is the largest immigrant youth-led community in the country. This nonprofit organization provides resources on how to apply for DACA, advanced parole and where to find trusted immigration advice.
UNHCR-USA
The UN Refugee Agency’s US office provides helpful resources for refugees and asylum seekers including links to nonprofit organizations and pro bono legal service providers in the United States that assist persons with immigration matters.
USAHello
USAHello is an online hub for trustworthy information and educational resources which includes free multilingual online classes to study for the US Citizenship or GED exams as well as hundreds of translated information on immigration policy, education, job preparedness and more.

Faculty and staff members can also submit referrals for students who they believe may be experiencing a challenge impacting their academic success, including immigration issues.
